Owen got his first haircut the other day.

 

It was getting a bit crazy.

Moving is mixed emotions.

Saying bye to my stepdaughter, Hannah, was difficult.

I'm so glad we had a chance to enjoy one last dinner out as a family (minus Daddy and Emillie).

You're such an amazing daughter and sister, Hannah!

We love you sweet girl and miss you already!

Last week we said goodbye to some dear friends of ours.

I took this picture of Owen and I earlier this month.

a good first...

Riley has always been much too busy to sit and color for long.

Her drawings were scribble for a long time (which is normal, I know).

Like everything else, some kids draw sooner than others.

But last week Riley came into the kitchen to show me a drawing - and when I looked up I smiled so big. 

I was surely impressed!
