Owen - 10 months

Owen, you are 10 months old!

 

 

You are crawling...

 

You are bumping into things (notice the bruise on your forehead)...ouch!

 

You are starting to practice getting up higher on your knees - soon to standing by yourself, but not yet

 

You are sleeping like a champ at night (always have...thank you!)

 

You take two naps still (sometimes the morning nap is on the go)

 

You eat everything I give you - sometimes with an added silly face if it's yucky or just weird...ha

 

You have just 8 teeth but are always working on more

 

You are a snuggle bear still but definitely more wiggly now that you can crawl

 

You love your little "blankie" and rub your face in it when you get sleepy

 

You suck your left thumb when tired - it's definitely a comfort thing for you

 

You are pretty easy going for a little dude

 

You are always smiling and we just love making you laugh

 

Riley especially loves making you laugh!

(She's the BEST big sis ever)

 

 

We love you so much little O!

 

And soon Daddy will be home to visit with us...

Well, kids...

I'm 33 years old now.

(I'm telling you, so that it'll help me remember...)

Somehow it just doesn't seem right.

Is it?!  Hmmm...

I can't get my mind wrapped around it.

Last I checked I was 28.  Or 25, I can't remember.

Where did the time go?

Oh wait. 

Yes, I remember.  KIDS. 

I've been busy.  You have kids and years just sneak by!

I guess.  That's my explanation and I'm sticking to it!  So not fair.

Anyhow...

For my birthday this year, the kids and I went to MD for the day to visit my parents and my grandma (Dad's mom) who was there visiting!

I'm usually terrible at taking pictures of our play dates with friends.
(I'm too busy to think of it!)

Riley has many great little friends here in NJ...

but one of her "best" friends according to her, is Nate.

Nate's mom and I say they have a love/hate relationship.

Fighting, tattling...and then hugging and holding hands.

Owen has been more on the move today.

He still props up to all fours but then drops down to belly.

To get something further away he's now doing the "army crawl."

Riley never did this (that I remember) - so it's super cute to see.
