momma's babies

I decided it was time to take my picture with the kids.

I'm rarely in photos these days.

So here you go...

Today, while taking Owen's 9 month pictures I turned the camera to Riley.

My favorite pictures of Riley are when she's just being her serious and sweet natural self.

We love our beauty...

9 months

Our little man is 9 months old today!

Owen,

You are trying so hard to crawl.

In fact, just today was the first day we saw you on all fours several times while playing on the floor.

You have 8 teeth.

You drool all the time. (It's what babies do.)

You eat all 3 meals with Riley and I.

You are diggin' food. Everything I give you, you eat. Funny faces, and all.

You sleep all night, have for awhile now.

You take two naps a day, typically.

You giggle and laugh at Riley.

You get excited when Skyping with Daddy.

You smile and give slobbery kisses.

You love your blankets and bear.

You are our cuddly boy.

We love you!

Owen is almost 9 months old.

He's not crawling yet.
(And Mommy is OK with that)

He is very laid back - a very chill, easy going baby.
(for the most part)

Here is a video I took today of him on his belly.

He can circle all around really well, but we have not mastered going forward yet.

He does get frustrated at times because he wants to do more but just can't.

Stay tuned...his time is coming.
(eventually!)

For those keeping track - Riley crawled at 7 months old.

It's true what they say...every single baby is different!

Keep at it Owen! You can do it!

I will miss these "easy" days when you do start crawling...so all in good time.
(Ha)

Riley loves being outside.

She always has - since a wee little baby in the stroller.

Here she is petting the horses and climbing a tree in MD.

Riley got a new bike!

It was a BIG gift for her 4th birthday from her grandparents.

It's pretty awesome.

Riley is getting the hang of it and loves it so much.

May flowers

Earlier this month we enjoyed the spring flowers in full bloom at Longwood Gardens!

We met my parents there for a day of fun.

I had lots of great pics with my parents from the day but am focusing on my kids for this post - to save on time.
