oh january...

Today is a snow day.

We got about a foot of snow yesterday/last night.

I did manage to get outside some to shovel and Riley played.

I'm taking some quiet time while the kids are resting to upload some pics!

pretty nails...

Today, for the very first time, Riley had her nails painted!

No worries - it's kid friendly, non-toxic.

This past summer it was all about painted toes.

I don't paint my fingernails often (well, because I don't have any) and really wasn't into painting Riley's either.

A friend of mine was over a few days ago and Riley said to her something like "your nails are gorgeous!" when she saw how they were painted so pretty.

I realized that Riley is ready for painted nails.

She was SO excited today!

Purple is the color she picked...
